About Mateo:

Mateo is a passionate photographer and political scientist who has dedicated his career to capturing the beauty and excitement of the national Colombian sport.

His work has been featured in publications around the world, and he is a regular contributor to various media outlets and companies like Sportograf, the leading sports photography company worldwide where he manages the south and north american photography teams. 

He is also the co-founder of La Vuelta es Así, a cycling photography collective based in Colombia that ensures to communicate the little and big stories of the Colombian professional peloton to the world.

In 2022, he fulfilled one of his biggest dreams by shooting the Giro d'Italia, in 2023 Paris Roubaix was next, and in 2024 he will be shooting the Tour de France. 

He also regularly shoots content for brands outside the cycling industry, as well as events, campaigns, video content, and much more.
